Invitation Trophy Autotest & Motorcycle Testing Trial 2026

Entries are now open for the Invitation Trophy Autotest & Motorcycle Testing Trial.

The event will take place on Saturday 8th August 2026 at Winsdon Farm, Clubworthy, Nr Launceston, PL15 8NX (MR 190/280908).

• What3Words: BARSTOOL.TRIBES.FOLLOWERS (Entrance to farm lane)
• Timing: Scrutineering and signing on commences at 3:30pm. All competitors must be signed on by 4:30pm, and the first competitor starts at 4:30pm.

This event is open to a variety of vehicles, welcoming everything from everyday standard road cars to specialized trials specials with fiddle brakes, beach buggies, full motorcycle outfits, and even youth electric bikes.

The trial will consist of a number of observed tests and is open to production cars, non-production cars, motorcycles, and motorcycle sidecar outfits. Please check the classes below for more info on what vehicles are eligible for entry.

Marks will be awarded for completion of each test correctly as well as times taken. There will be a number of tests and rounds dependent on time and size of entry.

Vic’s Mobile Catering and a toilet will be available on site.

Car Classes & Regulations

• Class 1: Production cars, front engine rear wheel drive
• Class 2: Production cars, engine over driven wheels
• Class 3: Production cars, 4WD or fitted with LSD
• Class 4: Non-Production cars, NTF trials cars with fiddle brakes, disabled, specials (i.e. classic class 7 & 8), beach buggies

Important Car Rules:

• NO PASSENGER to be carried in all timed tests.
• Drivers aged 18 or over require a free RS Clubman licence from MotorSport UK.
• Minimum driver age is 15 years. Any driver without a full RTA Licence may only drive a Touring Car (4-seater with a fixed roof) with a maximum engine capacity of 1400cc and without forced induction. Drivers under 18 require parental consent.

Motorcycle Classes & Regulations

• Class D: Motorcycles
• Class E: Motorcycle Outfits
• Class F (Youth):
  • F.1: Aged 4 to 6 (Electric bikes only – max 2bhp at rear wheel, must be accompanied by a parent/guardian minder)
  • F.2: Under 12
  • F.3: 12 to 15
• Class G: Youth Motocross Bikes

Important Motorcycle Rules:

• Riders aged 6 to 15 are subject to AMCA rules regarding maximum engine capacity (6–9 years: 80cc | 10–12 years: 125cc | 13–15 years: 250cc) and require parental consent.
• All machines must be fitted with cut-out buttons.
• Competition licences are not required, and day memberships (£2.50) can be arranged on the day if needed.
