The trial will take place on Sunday 12th August 2018 at Cannaframe Farm, Trewint, Cornwall, PL15 7SD (entrance to the venue) (Map Ref: 201211/792) and will consist of a number of observed tests. Marks will be awarded for completion of each test or section correctly as well as times taken where appropriate. There will be a number of tests and rounds dependent on time and size.

It is hoped there will be a BBQ provided where hot food will be available to purchase with funds going to the Club’s charity.

Additionally, due to GDRP we are going to need to get consent from club members to continue sending out emails about our upcoming events. So if you receive emails from us regarding events and wish to continue doing so then please sign up to our mailing list.

Windwhistle Motor Club Need Marshals For Their Bovey Trial 2018

We have received a call for marshals from Anna Robinson who’s part of the Windwhistle Motor Club, for their Bovey Trial in April;

Windwhistle Motor Club Ltd – 12^th Bovey Down Single Venue Classic Trial

Sunday 22^nd April 2018

In 2018, we are pleased to be able to run this non-championship event again and this year the event will be held 3 weeks after the Lands End trial.

With sections run in 3 groups, coffee breaks with onsite catering and toilet facilities, it serves well as a great social event and a great season finale for the West Country events.

However, we need marshals – we are looking for a minimum of 30 to be able to run all these sections, so if you are not planning to enter, why not make up a car-full and have a good day’s motorsport in East Devon.

Cancellation of The Spry Trial 2018

We’re sorry to announce that we have had to cancel The Spry Trial 2018 due to the recent wet weather. The ground at the new venue is too water logged which might have resulted in significant damage to the terrain had we run the trial. This may have resulted in us losing permission to use the venue for future events. We are now looking to use the new venue for the Northgate Trial 2018 in April.

This single venue classic trial for both motorcycles and cars is held in Lew & Eastcott Woods, Near Lewdown (approx. 10 miles from Launceston) and will take place on Sunday the 11th of February.

Spry Trial 2018 – Change of Venue

SPRY TROPHY TRIAL 28 JANUARY 2018

In view of adverse site conditions the venue of the Spry Trial will be switched to an exciting new site at-

Ashley Farm, Lifton, Devon

MR 201/395 842

DIRECTIONS:

From A30 West or East

Take Lifton turning at Lifton Down. Proceed on old A30 to Lifton Village (1 mile) at Lifton Hall Hotel, right into Leat Road (arrowed/marked unsuitable for HGVs) straight on over river bridge and after old railway bridge bear left 2^nd right (by cottages) up steep narrow hill for a further 400m and right into field before junction.

Unfortunately at landowners request we cannot accommodate motor cycles and therefore the motorcycle trial has been cancelled. However, motorcyclists are very welcome to enter the Launceston Trial on February 11^th at Lew Woods. Regulations for the Launceston Trial will be available on the website shortly.
